Frequently Asked Questions

1. Does the applicant have to be a student? If not, is there any kind of restriction? Age, highest degree, etc.
   Not at all! Anyone is welcome to participate in this contest. There are no restrictions.
2. What does the gift card apply to? Amazon? How does the gift card work for countries outside of America?
   For winners in the U.S., we plan to use Amazon gift cards. For participants in other countries, we’ll provide an equivalence in their local currency via Apple Pay. All participants will also receive a participation certificate.
3. Is there a consensus form or agreement regarding what happens regarding the contest? How long will the artwork be shown publicly?
   By submitting their artwork, artists are giving consent to participate in the competition and to share their work with us. Selected artworks may be displayed on our website for as long as the artist wishes. All copyrights remain with the artist.
4. Deadlines: how is this impacted by time zones?
   Time zones will not affect the deadline. Submissions are due by the end of the day in the participant’s local region. For example, submissions from Japan are due by the end of the deadline day in Japan.
5. Any other information needed for the content of the email?
   As long as you include the required title, the artwork, and a brief summary, your submission will be accepted.
6. Must the entry title with a summary of the creative idea be in English, can we use translation/translator for it?
   Yes, all submissions should be in English. If the artist is not comfortable with English, they are welcome to use a translator.
